On Monday, October 7th, 2024, we got the wonderful opportunity to present to the 3rd graders at SEM Elementary! We had a wonderful time sharing with them the importance of good mental and physical health, connecting with them about mindfulness, and trying to help these students understand how they could maintain good health and implement healthy habits on a practical, day-to-day basis. Despite being 3rd graders, these students were very engaged; sharing how they planned to take the initiative and become healthier for their betterment.Â
Seeing the shift in these students and how they were already planning ways to keep themselves active and healthy was great. We were very fortunate to be able to connect with these 3rd graders and we hope to go back soon! A big thank you to Coach Watts for making this possible!
