Jiya is a passionate high school student at Frisco ISD in Texas and a TEDx speaker. She is deeply curious and driven by a love for reading, music, and learning about nutrition and health. Above all, Jiya believes in giving back to the community that has shaped her, and she continues to inspire others through her words and actions.
Jaanvi is a freshman at Liberty High School in FISD and the younger twin by just one minute. She is passionate about nutrition, mental health, and community service. She is a member of the North Texas Food Bank Youth Advisory Council (NTFB YAC), has spoken on the TEDx stage, and enjoys running, reading, cooking, and playing the flute and piccolo.
Anirudh Dinesh is a junior at Liberty High School, passionate about healthcare, public health, and the connection between nutrition and overall well-being. Through Mindful Bites, he has helped lead community initiatives and health education programs. He hopes to continue making health education more accessible and helping young people build healthier habits.
David is an 8th grader at Lawler Middle School in Frisco, Texas, who recently joined Mindful Bites, hoping to grow and give back to his community. Some of his passions include playing the cello, reading, snowboarding, and playing soccer. He is driven by a strong belief in the importance of healthy nutrition and wants to share healthy habits and ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle with others.
Thanishka is an 8th grader and officer in Mindful Bites who enjoys working and volunteering with others to make her community a better place. She enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, sports, logic games, being around friends and family, and traveling. She hopes to make a difference in her community in the upcoming months by educating others about healthy eating habits and how they can implement their learning into daily life.
Anjali is an 8th grader at Lawler Middle School who recently joined Mindful Bites and hopes to give back to the community and educate others about healthy lifestyles. Some of her hobbies include playing the French horn and piano, reading, and spending time with her friends. She believes that giving back to her community is a very important thing to do and wants to help others build healthier lifestyles.
Suhani is a freshman at Frisco High School who’s been at Mindful Bites for over a year now. Some of her passions include baking, performing in Colorguard, and giving back to her community in any way she can, whether it’s fundraising for local causes or educating youth about the effects of mindful eating.
Vivaan is a 8th grader going to Moseley Middle School in Prosper, TX. Before becoming a mentor in Mindful Bites, Vivaan was a part of an organization called Hope Squad, which helped teens who were struggling with mental health. A few of his hobbies are playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. Through this organization, he hopes to make a difference by helping people with food insecurity in the North Texas area.
